I’m a self-taught danish/Icelandic artist based in Denmark. I am very inspired by nature and the wild life that takes place there every day, while the rest of us are busy living our lives. Nature has its own course, which is fantastic to observe. I love both Iceland and Denmark with all their wilderness. The Icelandic uncompromising nature doesn’t take into account the people who live there. The sun does not always shine - and in the winter, darkness dominates. Nature is full of contrasts and for me both Iceland and Denmark is completely unique because of this – it forms for me associations to the human mind, where there is not always light to be found, and where joy sometimes can be obscured by darkness and wind.
I paint on canvas with acrylic and oil painting- I also work with porcelain
